Croydon Area Gay Society (CAGS)

Croydon Area Gay Society (CAGS) logo

CAGS (Croydon Area Gay Society, established 1971) is a society for lesbians and gay men in and around Croydon. We have about 100 members.

Our social diary normally contains at least two social events a month in members' homes, for instance coffee evenings, wine and cheese parties and music evenings. We also have outside events such as walks and restaurant meals, and a meeting open to all every other month.

CAGS supports the Silver Rainbow lunch club for older LGBT people (in partnership with Age UK Croydon), and the Rainbow Reading Group (in conjunction with Croydon Library).

CAGS also sponsors the LGBT-Croydon website (www.lgbt-croydon.org.uk) which includes a diary of events organised by CAGS and other local LGBT groups.
