Since 1973, PAL has been providing town planning advice in the Greater London area.
Our advice and support can help individuals and groups to:
-
Take part in preparing policy plans
-
Put together their own plans for their communities
-
Make comments on planning applications
-
Apply for planning permission
-
Appeal against a refusal of planning permission
-
Appear with confidence at planning committees and public inquiries.
-
PAL also runs a small affordable consultancy service, dealing with a range of planning and enforcement cases, for those who are not eligible for the free service. PALs clients are typically small businesses and householders.
PAL's work is guided by a Management Committee which meets 6 times a year to give overall direction to the organisation. The Town & Country Planning Association and the London Branch of the Royal Town Planning Institute each nominate Management Committee members, and additional members are voted in annually at PALs AGM
