Provides health promotion services for older people to improve their health and wellbeing by making changes to eat healthily and to become more physically active.

People taking part in project activities will be supported to make resonable adjustments to improve their physical and mental health and wellbeing. It will increase the social inclusion/reduce social isolation of people using its services. 

Core activities 
Drop-in and outreach services to introduce and provide group and one on one support for: 

  • Weight management / health screening / supporting existing conditions 
  • Healthy eating
  • Taster exercise sessions
  • Health information and talks
  • Malnutrition screening and support
  • Facilitate access and make referrals to other Age UK services and to health and social services
